Avoid using a strong antiseptic spray and wrapping tightly for a full day, as this can irritate the skin or restrict circulation; soaking the leg in cold water serves no purpose for a minor cut and can soften skin or introduce contaminants; and ignoring the wound if bleeding stops misses the risk of infection developing later.
